Lotus Notes Administrator and Applications Developer
at Daniel Industries
Established and maintained a Lotus Notes / Domino network.
Two Notes Servers operating on Windows NT Server 3.51: one Domino 4.5 server, one Notes 4.0 server.
Over fifty users in various Daniel departments using a mix of R4, 4.5, and web clients on Win32 and Windows 3.x machines.
Assisted the Canadian division of Daniel Industries in the implementation of their Notes/Domino network.
Upgraded all Notes users to 4.5 clients while adding additional web browser-based users.

Specifications and Procedures
To comply with ISO-9001's document control requirements and to reduce process cycle time
with electronic signatures and workflow enhancements.
Engineering Change Notice
To comply with ISO-9001's change control requirements and to facilitate the creation,
approval, and dissemination of ECN documents.
Engineering Project Files
To comply with ISO-9001's design control requirements and to reduce process cycle time
with electronic signatures and workflow enhancements.
Change Request and Tasks Tracking
To assist in the routing, assignment, and tracking of engineering change requests from
Manufacturing, Sales, Quality Assurance, and other Daniel departments.
Customer Call Tracking
To allow better documentation of customer calls and incidents.
Product Knowledge Base
To create a searchable repository of Daniel product knowledge to assist in the handling of
customer calls and in the resolution of technical issues.
Product Information
To enable the concurrent sharing of product catalog information among Notes and browser
clients.
Purchase Order Tracking
To allow non-production related Purchase Orders to be tracked by Purchasing and by
requisitioners.
Assembled and/or upgraded all non-CAD PC workstations in the Daniel Flow Products engineering department to use Notes.
